The Pythagoreans thought of the number Five as “Hieros Gamos,” a primordial marriage rite between heaven and earth. The number five represents an ancient ritual that unites two spirits in a sacred marriage of twin souls – a relationship that is beyond words… pure bliss -- and so are the Heiros Gamos…my modern interpretation of the number five.
