To me, whimsical art is vibrant and playful. It delights and enchants. It reminds me of childhood… carefree and open to new adventure. Weaving this I imaged“Whimsical” as a charming high-spirited path through the endless permutations of our human imagination, wishes and dreams. Although dramatic with circles, interlaced with reeds, and bittersweet, this piece leaves the storytelling up to you. It fits perfectly with just about every home décor you can think of. I created this piece with loosely twisting and turning bittersweet vines with one continuous woven panel of hand dyed brown reeds artfully accented with rust dyed reeds.
