Bermuda (2003)

H 24" W 48" D 6"

A single piece of bittersweet was used to make the frame and the separation between mountain and water. The mountain is woven in shades of greens and browns. The water is woven in different shades of blue. A very curly piece of bittersweet surrounds the sun, which is woven with reds, yellows, and oranges. Those same "sun" colors are woven into the water to represent the reflection of the sun.

Bantam Lake (2001)

H 36" W 50" D 6"

The bittersweet curves mold the shape of the mountains, the lake, and the sky. The mountains were woven in green and browns -- with accents of blue reflected from the sky and the water. Yellows, reds, and oranges were used to make the sun. Blues and whites to make the sky and the clouds. The lake was woven in blues and brown -- with greens, blues, yellows, red and oranges to create the reflections on the water.
